Dear Family!
Hello! I hope this week was good and tranquil.
This week for us was a doozy! We had lots of long days. I did divisions with an Elder for 2 days. It was awesome.
We found a new neighborhood in our area to work in. The people are super nice and we found a few people to teach. And that's that. Our numbers were low but we worked hard. Our goal in this ward is 36 baptisms this year which would be 3 baptisms every month. I am pretty confident that we can do it.
This week I was sitting in Gospel Principles and I was thinking, What has changed about me in the mission? Which I am confident that I will only be able to answer that after that mission but one strong cool point that I finally recognized was that: I am in a different country speaking a different language! I grew up my whole life speaking different words, different forms, and in a different culture. Now I have been in Argentina almost a year and a half and I am fluently speaking, understanding, and living in a different language. I dream more frequently in Spanish too which is super weird. When the members speak English ( the very few that know it) I can't speak right because I mix up the words! It was a humbling moment and a small sense of accomplishment that came to me. It has happened before but this past experience was even more strong.
Anyways, sorry for the very short letter, but nothing much happened!
We will see what the future brings!
Love you all
Love
Elder Moore
