MTC WEEK 4

Hola,

Another week has flown by and I am quickly approaching my departure date of the 4th. This coming week I should get my itinerary. I am pretty sure I will be getting a 90 day or 6 month travel Visa. So things are looking up about going to Argentina, but we will see. If we get our real VISA´s during that time we have to leave the country and return back under the new VISA. Not looking forward to that because they said we either have to come back to the US and pick them up or just go to Uruguay if they can get them there. Hopefully its the latter.

A rather good week has come to pass. Nothing much different other than the fact that we got the heads up that we are moving to WEST campus on the 29th. They are making WEST campus a spanish only campus. We are excited for the move but don´t want to pack up, get there then leave 5 or 6 days later. However, I am willing to go where the Lord wants us. I got a new companion..... for a day, on monday. The older district all left for the field and one of them had a later flight than the others so I got paired with him. His name is Elder Phibbs.

Nothing different. Happened, for those who are curious about how I teach the lessons its pretty fun once I got the hang of it. So far I have taught or am teaching 3 investigators. They are actually our teachers acting like a person they taught on their mission. They remain COMPLETELY in character and they respond exactly how they think or know the actual person would respond. Its really cool how well and how real the situation feels. Especially if you have the Spirit, you automatically feel a love for the person and you believe they are real. We teach our lessons completely in Spanish. They are about 20 to 25 minutes long depending on how well you teach and how well the investigator understands. They are amazing experiences and my companions and I have walked out with that "whoa, that was amazing" feeling.

Wednesday, I got to host an international student from Scotland. It was amazing. His name was Elder Banks. I told him that some of our ancestors are from Scotland, he said he wasn't surprised and that every body claims that. THen I totally knocked it of the park by saying, "Well I bet most people who claim that don't know their family tartan, clan, or their family motto slogan thing. (so I told him about those and the Scottish themed wedding of Taylors' and Kerri's.) Then he genuinely was surprised and said "okay thats more than a wee bit better than most." He is a cool guy, incredibly jet lagged so we took all the elevators to his classroom and dorm room.

The others day went by without incident.

Tis all I have to report for this week!

Press Forward Saints!

With Love,

Elder Moore
